The lines are from a Scottish toast. I liked the image of a poor mouse leaving empty-handed!

Set of 4 natural slate coasters. Engraved with the image of a mouse and lines from a Scottish toast "May a moose ne'er leave yer gernal - Wi' a tear drap in his e'e" - 'May a mouse never leave your grannery / storehouse With a tear drop in his eye'
Great for a tea and coffee mugs and ideal for supporting a glass of single malt!
The slate is approximately 100mm diameter with the engraving approximately 90mm.
They can be cleaned with a damp cloth but are not dishwasher safe. Four anti-skid feet protect protect surfaces.
