Hi and welcome to my little shop. I hope you have had a chance to relax a little over this winter holiday and feel suitably refreshed. I'm away from the 27th Dec to the 20th Jan for some much needed down time. So feel free to have a browse in the meantime and I'll be more then happy to see you when I reopen next year!
Dartmoor is a place that fascinates me, it’s so full of history yet feels as though we are only now realising its importance for our climate.
In these painting I try to explore this ancient, living place. Walking through the peatlands with can almost hear it breathing under foot as the plants and insects around you work their magic in their ever-changing performances.

Full description
This beautiful Dartmoor landscape feels so remote especially when the weather closes in, but it is full of history and has been lived and worked on for centuries. With rolling hills, littered with archaeology, it still feels untouched by the modern day and I for one keep being draw back to it.
