Handmade sea glass jewellery & whimsical watercolour paintings of the Scottish seaside and its adorable wildlife. Based in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, I create coastal-inspired gifts including jewellery, limited edition prints, cards, coasters, tea towels and more!

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the sea glass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.

Large Blue Glass Hoop Earrings - Sterling Silver with Lapis Lazuli Crystal Beads
These gorgeous handmade hoop earrings feature dark blue tumbled glass – smoothed to resemble the frosted finish of sea glass and paired with natural Lapis Lazuli crystals, sterling silver and Czech glass beads.
Photographs are a guide. You won't receive the exact earrings pictured but they will be very similar and guaranteed to be a one-off!
Each hooped earring measures 3cm in diameter (1.2 inches). It's a lovely size to be noticeable whilst being comfortable for everyday wear. The added Czech glass beads give the earrings that lovely boho, beachy vibe!
The hoops open by gently squeezing. The 'catch' is not visible from the front so when worn it looks like a continuous hoop (see photo!)
The earrings arrive in a gift box and gift-wrapped with a free silver cleaning cloth, making them a perfect gift for anyone who loves the sea.
Blue sea glass is extremely rare these days and the glass used here has been tumbled to imitate the beauty of naturally weathered sea glass, with a soft, frosted finish and gently rounded edges. Blue glass was commonly used in vintage medicine (or poison!) bottles.
Lapis Lazuli has been chosen to perfectly complement the colours of the glass. Often ground down by artists to make pigments and used by the ancient Egyptians for eye shadow, Michelangelo used the deep blue pigment to paint the Sistine Chapel.
