These earrings combine the vibrant cobalt blue of lapis chips with creamy golden brown freshwater pearls for a really distinctive colour effect, just like the coordinating necklace from Blue Forest Jewellery. I don’t know why they remind me of panning or mining for gold – I think it’s just the effect of the 7mm pearls nestled within these lovely lapis chips that conjures up the image!
They would great with jeans in light or dark denim, and those pearls add another colour element. Maybe you have tan or light brown boots to wear for the fall or winter which would echo this colour combination? In any case, with or without the necklace, they are beautiful.
The earrings come gift wrapped as a perfect present or a pampering treat for you. I recommend you store the earrings in a tarnish-resistant box or pouch, and give the chips and pearls a polish with a dry cloth after you’ve worn them to maintain their shine.
