Description

Cairngorms in Scotland is a hikers heaven, a place where it's easy to leave the crowds behind and join the red deer and sheep in the mountains. The rocky crags and wind blown trees, there is so much to catch an artist eye. Enjoy the fresh air and peaceful moment that this little painting can bring to your home. Dimensions: The painting it's self is 12"x9" and with the frame it's 13"x10"

My art is all about slowing down and taking the time to really see the world around me. One of my art teachers once said that “most people look but very few actually take the time to see.” This has stuck with me and since the brain injury when I was forced to slow down I definitely see the world more now. My collection of Scotland paintings try to capture the feeling of timelessness. The landscape there feels so old but also its still changing and growing with rivers carving away at their banks and the growing deer population slowly changing the shrub lands into moorlands.
