Full description
A pretty hanging heart featuring an embroidered posy of red roses.
French knots, in cotton threads, are stitched to represent roses, leaves and gypsophila onto a herart shape of beige felt. The deocorated felt heart is blanket stitched onto a heart shape cut from an upcylcled wool blanket. Blanket stitches, in green thread, attach a backing panel in pale grey felt. French knots in green, red and white threads make a feature of the seem.
The heart is lightly padded with polyester wadding. A hanging loop of cord, hand made from linen thread, isatteched to the back of the heart - the stitches are covered by a small button.
I have done my best to photogrpah this item accurately but monitor settings may cause variation in colour.
