I created the cyanotype kit during lockdown as a way to share a really fun creative activity since then it's become my bestseller in my online shops. I'm an artist printmaker and teacher and taught photography for 18 years and cyanotype workshops were always a highlight of the year.

Detailed instructions
Simply add water to the bottles, combine chemicals A & B, coat paper, dry in subdued light (e.g. in the evening or with curtains drawn). Wait for a bright or sunny day and place dried paper in the frame with with leaves/feathers etc outside and wait for the colour to change. Once exposed wash in water and watch your permanent blue print emerge.
Makes a great gift and can be used with children (just leave chemical mixing to the adults). Makes up 120ml of solution which coats approx 40-50 sheets - a little goes a long way. Can also be used on natural fabrics.
