Firstly the cold - I get earache if I don't cover up in winter.
Secondly, wearing something I've made myself, in a yarn I love, a one-off makes me feel good.
Especially when I'm rushing around trying to fit everything into my day, it reminds me of feeling calm because knitting is so calming and mindful.
I love this yarn, it's made locally by my local yarn shop (Northern yarn) and that's important to me - I love supporting local.

Sshhh this is possibly my favourite hat....its a hand knit beanie hat using 100 % pure British, northern poll Dorset and Blue-faced Leicester wool. It's produced here in the NW, locally to me, which I absolutely love.
Blue-faced Leicester wool is a British sheep breed and beautifully soft like merino.
The label is made from vegan leather.
Colour is a gorgeous mid blue with a cream rim with a classic rib and stocking stitch styling.
Sizing wise it will fit a medium sized adult head.
Circumference is 19 inches non stretched and 23.5 inches stretched.
Height is 8 inches stretched and non stretched.
Care - please hand wash in cool water and dry flat
