Why use knitted cotton dishcloths?

Knitted dishcloths are great for handwashing dishes because the knitted texture helps with the cleaning. But beyond washing dishes, knitted dishcloths also make great cleaning rags for wiping down benchtops or the bathroom.
Having a set of knitted dishcloths is more hygienic, you can use a new one each day without waste! To clean just throw them into the washing machine with your next wash. If you’re not washing them immediately, rinse in cold water and hang to dry so they don’t get smelly while they’re waiting to be washed in the machine!
