Garnet is the traditional birthstone for January and Capricorn.
Garnet is one of the oldest known gemstones.
The ancient Egyptians buried their dead with necklaces and ornaments of garnet.
The common belief that garnets had the power to shield their wearer from harm made them popular with both royalty and warriors.
In the middle ages it was believed that a dragons eyes glowed red because they were made of garnet.
It is thought to be a highly protective stone.
Garnet is also considered the stone for a 2nd anniversary.

Full description
Genuine Garnet bracelet featuring five Rhodolite Garnet nuggets separated by rows of five 3mm AAA grade faceted Rhodolite Garnet beads and highlighted with 5mm Tibetan style flower beads with an antique gold finish.
The Garnet nuggets are rough cut polished ovals, smooth and shiny but containing flaws.
The faceted beads are a deep raspberry colour with a lovely sparkle.
The Tibetan flower beads are nickel and lead free.
Hand made in my home workshop, here in beautiful Devon UK, this would make a lovely gift for birthday, anniversary, Mothers Day, Valentines, or as a special treat for yourself.
This bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), perfect for a 5 inch (15cm) wrist.
I can usually alter bracelet sizes on request, please contact me before purchase for confirmation.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
