Hi and welcome to my little shop. I hope you have had a chance to relax a little over this winter holiday and feel suitably refreshed. I'm away from the 27th Dec to the 20th Jan for some much needed down time. So feel free to have a browse in the meantime and I'll be more then happy to see you when I reopen next year!
My art is all about slowing down and taking the time to really see the world around me. One of my art teachers once said that “most people look but very few actually take the time to see.” This has stuck with me and since the brain injury when I was forced to slow down I definitely see the world more now.
My collection of Scotland paintings try to capture the feeling of timelessness. The landscape there feels so old but also its still changing and growing with rivers carving away at their banks and the growing deer population slowly changing the shrub lands into moorlands.

This is a painting of an iconic landscape in the Scottish highlands and would make a pocket of wildness for your home. This is a place that seems to sum up what I love about Scotland. Its history and legends, its mountains and peatlands, its wildlife and weather, its Scotland.
Dimensions: the painting itself is 40x50cm and framed its 47x57.
