I love wire wrapping with copper. By treating the copper when the piece is finished, sanding it back and polishing, all the intricate details of the weave come through and leave the copper with a fabulous burnished shine that deepens its lustre and colour.
I have used two stunning Labradorite cabochons in the pendant section of the necklace. Both stones flash with gold, blue and green and they really are superb examples of the gemstones. The pendant section is attached to a fabulous wire-wrapped arch with scroll details, and all of the copper is burnished to perfection.
The neckline, which is 18 inches, is made using a rosary link technique with incredible Phantom Quartz gemstones. The cut of the quartz is called 'Star Cut' and they are hand cut by a very talented woman who pioneered the cutting technique.
The neckline is 21 inches and comes fitted with a handmade 'S' clasp. I will post this to you in a post friendly cardboard box via Royal Mail first class post.
