I'm fascinated by Egyptian iconography and design, so I wanted to see if I could create something with a strong Egyptian flavour.

Full description
I seem to be fascinated by Egyptian colours and jewellery, and as I was designing this piece and putting together the colours I wanted to use, it turned into something befitting the famous Cleopatra herself.
I used the most gorgeous Czech-pressed glass beads in tones of fabulous copper and pale blue to form the bones of the neckline. I then embellished it further by incorporating Gold Glass seed beads.
The edge of the necklace uses the most stunning Kingsman Turquoise gemstones, which is so befitting a piece inspired by ancient Egypt.
To complete the colour scheme, I used a dazzling deep red crystal in the focal point, and that small flash of red perfectly complements the gold, greens and blues of the necklace.
The piece will fit a neckline from 16 to 18 inches and comes fitted with a gold-plated toggle clasp.
I will send this to you in a post-friendly cardboard box via Royal Mail first class post.
