Full description
This highly detailed and intricate Elephant necklace took almost a week to make and is crammed full of beautiful gemstones including Jasper, Amazonite, Green Onyx and Blue Goldstone. The statement necklace is 18 inches and comes fitted with a gorgeous heart-shaped toggle clasp.
I have used various gauges of tarnish-resistant gold-plated copper wire to make a multitude of different, interlocking frames. Each frame is woven together using fine wire, and I have set a multitude of gemstones and crystals within the piece.
The wire is tarnish-resistant and the colour and finish will last for a very long time due to its robust nature and the invisible protective finish coating the wires. The wire only requires an occasional buff with a polishing cloth.
The head has a stunning Blue Goldstone gemstone cabochon set into it, from which radiates incredible crystals that bring the piece to life. The hand-made chain uses two different techniques combined together to form an impressive neckline laden with Jasper gemston
