A hand carved brooch pin of Ratty, from the infamous British children’s novel ‘Wind in The Willows’.
Little Ratty is hand carved from linden wood and finished with a blend of natural oils and wax polish. His adorable outfit is colour stained with diluted acrylic paint and ebonizing solution, and his big blinky eyes have been burned on using a soldering iron.
A hinge style brooch pin is fixed to his back so he can be attached to most fabrics and materials, so he can join you on all of life’s adventures.
Ratty measures approximately 2.2 inches tall.
All of my hand carved brooches and pendants come with a jewellery pouch to keep them safe, or making them perfect for gifting to anyone who loves whimsical woodland trinkets.
