Green men are traditionally symbols of rebirth, re growth and of springtime. Usually a male face with foliage surrounding and erupting out, they can be traced back to mediaeval times and beyond.
My green man is ceramic and can be wall hung. There are also holes in the bottom for rain to drain out.
He is made from earthenware clay so is frost resistant, not completely frost proof ( nothing actually is!). I have had him hanging outside my workshop since summer and he has faired the extremes of weather very robustly.
Dimensions are 28 cm height, width is 20cm and 9 cm depth.
Postage and packing included in the price or local delivery/pick up can be arranged for DN22 area ( Retford).
