I love Australian Boulder Opals and buy them online - straight from mines in Australia. I spend hours choosing them and it's like Christmas every time they turn up in the post! I then get to work hand setting them in Sterling silver, creating chunky but elegant pendants - each one is unique in it's combination of size, shape, colour and patterns. I hope you love them as much as i do.

Full description
This pretty little Boulder Matrix Opal is 12 carat in weight and comes from the Opal fields in Yowah, Australia. Triangular in shape, it features a striking pattern of turquoise blue with tiny glints of green when it catches the light. I’ve set the stone in an Sterling silver frame – deliberately understated to let this impressive boulder opal do all the talking.
On the reverse, I have cut out a simple pattern which allows parts of this lovely stone to be visible.
Every element of this Australian Boulder Matrix Opal pendant has been handmade by myself from scratch, other than the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace of which you can choose either 16 or 18 inch length.

- Dimensions: Pendant (from top of bale to bottom of pendant) – approx 27.7mm long, 18.6mm wide and 6.2mm thick.
- Necklace: 16 inch or 18 inch Sterling Silver snake chain included.
