My son brought back a delicious gingerbread heart from a school trip to a German Christmas market many years ago. It inspired me to make a range of gingerbread hanging decorations that would last a lifetime and beyond!
Many people make gingerbread people - but this one is special. Why is he special I hear you ask... we;;, unlike other gingerbread men he does not have a hold drilled through his head! These guys are designed so that they hold onto the cord with their little 'hands'. And this yer they have fancy gingham ribbons around their necks too :)

Full description
Made from a gorgeous buff stoneware clay that looks very similar to gingerbread after the final firing! His buttons have been hand sculpted and attached to his body before bisque firing. Hand painted before being fired for a second time to fix the colour detail to the clay.
This gingerbread man is a happy chappy and is made to hold onto the red & white cord so that he can hang on a STURDY branch of your Christmas tree...
Now with a cute little red & white gingham bow around his neck :)
He is approximately 12cm in height and is 7.5cm wide.
