Full description
When you are wanting to keep your threads safe on a bobbin spool, instead of a mass produced plastic or wood spool, instead use a handmade bobbin, made from top quality solid hardwoods such as beech, cherry, maple or walnut.
Individually made to order, these bobbins are sanded to a very fine, smooth finish but then left as natural wood, without any kind of varnish or wax that may affect your thread. This leaves the colour and the grain of wood as the star feature.
The standard size is approx 2" (52mm) tall, 1 " (32mm) wide with a further taper in the middle.
The medium size is approx 1 " (40mm) tall and 1" (25mm) wide, again with a central taper.
The small size is approx 1 " (32mm) tall and " wide with a central taper.
All items are posted by Royal Mail First Class in the UK and Royal Mail International Tracked to the rest of the world.
