Hello, I'm Ian and after 20 years as a small animal vet I have had a change of life and now enjoy making things in wood & metal. Being creative and making things brings be great satisfaction and is the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of modern life. Living on the edge of moorland in the West Pennines, I get my inspiration from the beautiful natural landscape. I am a keen triathlete and triathlon coach and love walking & running with my dogs in the hills. I hope that you'll love what I make as much as I enjoy making it.

Buying from me

I love working with wood, using its natural beauty to create a piece of art or furniture. Made in my workshop outside Ramsbottom, Lancashire with a view of the stunning West Pennines, I use the hills & moorland for inspiration. The origin of the wood I use is important and I will always use sustainable, well managed sources and as local as possible. I hope you'll love my creations as much as I love making them
