Full description
Large slate frames are best used with trestles to hold them (see my other listings) but the smaller frames can be held by hand or on a table. If you are holding the frame by hand you may want to put the frame down on a table after you have finished and a set of table feet helps you keep your precious work away from the table surface, clean and safe!
Alternatively, you may prefer to rest the frame on a table using a set of feet and the feet lift your work away from the surface giving you room to work.
Available in 2 sizes -
10cm (4") - perfect for resting your work on a table when not in use
15cm (6") - a bit taller and better if you are planning on working on your embroidery tapestry whilst the frame is standing on the feet
And two shapes - a graceful taper or an hourglass shape.
The hourglass design is 25mm (1") in diameter at the top, 15mm (58") at the narrow point and 25mm at the base, the tapered design goes from 25mm at the top to 15mm at the base.
All the feet are made from Beech, the traditional choice for slate frames but any order can be customised, just send me a message.
Made to order, normally within just a couple of days, they come complete with a M4 threaded insert and a matching 4mm wing screw. Pass the wing screw through one of the existing holes in each corner of my slate frame and attach the feet underneath by screwing into the threaded insert.
