I offer two sizes of Hedebo gauges and this listing is for the SMALL. On the photo, this is on the left and in the red coloured wood - cherry. Please see my separate listing for the smaller size or get in touch if you have any questions.
Hand Crafted Hedebo Gauges
Enhance your embroidery and needle lace projects with my carefully crafted Hedebo gauges, also known as Couronnes. These gauges are used to create those distinctive rings of Hedebo lace.
Crafted with Precision and Quality Materials
Each Hedebo gauge is handcrafted from premium hardwoods like maple, beech, cherry, or walnut. I take pride in achieving a high level of smoothness through careful sanding, followed by a finishing touch of a layer of lacquer, followed by my own oil and beeswax blend. This blend not only adds a stunning finish but also ensures these gauges stand the test of time.
Both gauges are designed to enhance your creativity. With an approximate length of 18cm and each step measuring 2cm, the large gauge features 3mm intervals, ideal for projects that are more delicate.
