Used in certain types of embroidery or stumpwork, a full-cone stick is usually sewn into a piece of work and used as a framework for a flower or similar decoration. Made from a straight, close grained hardwood such as maple, sycamore, cherry or walnut, sanded to a very high grit for smoothness and then finished with a light layer of my own oil wax blend, these sticks should last a lifetime.
The sticks are available in a variety of sizes and can be made to order. A standard set pictured includes sizes 45x13mm, 28x12mm, 32x10mm, 28x12mm and 17x7mm all with a handle of approximately 40mm. After you place your order I will contact you to ask which sizes you would like and if you have any preference over wood species or simply email me as you place your order. On the photo, Cherry is on the left, Beech in the middle and Maple on the right.
Comes as a set of 5 different sizes. Half-cone sticks available as a separate item but please email me if you have specific requirements
