Full description
This one of a kind necklace is made from the impression of a stunning 19th century Dutch clay pipe bowl. We found the original pipe bowl on an early 20th center rubbish tip in England, it is Alex's favorite pipe find! On the bowl of the pipe features the pipe maker himself, Goedewaagen, busy in his workshop finishing a batch of clay pipes.
The silver impression was cast in recycled sterling silver, oxidized and rubbed back, enhancing the highlights for an antique vibe.
The high quality oval Belcher (Rolo) chain has been hand assembled and fully soldered in our studio with spear-shaped tag detailing and 8mm trigger clasp. It is adjustable between 18"-20" in length (approximately). Please refer to photos for size comparison of pendant.
