Full description
A bespoke lampwork love heart glass pendant featuring blue hues and a pleated design using special reductive glass. Reactive silver glass adds to the depth and mystic feeling of the pendant.
The lampwork bead was created by melting layers of blue glass and then adding a special silver glass for the pleats.The silver glass was then reduced in the flame to produce a shiny effect. Once all the layers of glass were added, the bead was then pressed into a heart shape.
The pendant has been added onto a handmade sterling silver headpin and comes in a gift box with a 16 inch twisted sterling silver chain.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the glass pendant.
The lampwork bead has been annealed in the kiln to relieve internal stress that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the bead has been kiln annealed it is still delicate due to the nature of glass.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
