GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! You can now get an extra 20% off ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING until 13 Dec by entering the discount code HORSEFARTS24 at checkout. (As an added bonus, I haven't put my postage up to the new increased price yet, and I always combine the postage no matter how many spoons you purchase.) The Bargain Bin just got a whole lot Bargainier!
Please note I'll be shutting the shop for my Christmas break on FRIDAY 13 DECEMBER - well before Royal Mail's last posting dates - so don't leave it too late to order your festive spoons. I'll be reopening on Monday 6 January.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A handstamped vintage silver plated jam or preserve spoon with the plaintive message 'help, I'm in a jam' in black lettering in the bowl. It's a shallow pointed spoon in a plain style, measuring approximately 12cm long and has little scalloped cut-outs at the base of the bowl (to allow syrup from preserves to drain away).
This would make a fun little gift especially if you presented it along with a jar of jam!
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon that has been used, loved and polished, so it does have a few hairline scratches and wear marks. It's in the bargain bin for a fiver - I hope someone will love it anyway!
