I love vintage style but I am terrible at doing my own hair, so although I watched many many tutorials and even went for a lesson, a snood was my saving grace. It takes care of most of your hair and you get an instantly vintage look. Its so quick and easy but most snoods were too baggy for my fine hair and I thought there must surely be lots of other people in the same situation as me...

Full description
This snood is made with a nice bright red yarn shot through with silver metallic thread giving lovely sparkle as it catches the light. It definitely has a very festive feel.
Keep your gorgeous 1940's curls and waves in perfect shape by wearing this snood on windy days, to sleep in or to give your outfit some retro chic. My snoods are more authentic than most other sellers make, mine are a gathered net whereas most people make a slouchy bag hat which does not give the lovely neat vintage look you want.

I crocheted this snood after being inspired by a 1940's hair and make-up workshop I attended and now make these during my commute to work.
Please note although great care has been taken to accurately represent colours due to differences in screen resolutions and photographic equipment the colour shown may be slightly different to the actual item.
