Who doesn't love a new project bag? But sometimes when I look for them myself I found there were a lot that were too cutesy for the project I was working on or the knitter I wanted to gift it too. I think this this colourway is pretty gender neutral and is attractive without being twee.

Full description

These drawstring project bags are perfect for taking your craft project out in public. The outer fabrics are all cotton, the lining is a satin polyester with two roomy internal pockets.

The main fabric is a green and blue check that reminds me of childhood picnics (but minus the wasps).

I've chosen a bright blue contrast colour for the base, drawstring case and handle and a two tone blue drawstring. The lining is emerald green polyester. There are two nice roomy pockets for your bits and bobs and the bags themselves are a generous size.

I only have one size small (think sock or other single/two skein projects) left and as I prefer to use limited edition or remaindered fabrics its pretty unlikely I'll be able to make any more in the future. What I'm saying is - don't let this one slip by you!

The bag will squish down nicely when empty but the box bottom means it will sit up straight when in use.

The dimensions given here are approximate, they're handmade so may vary a little from bag to bag but not by enough to worry about.

Large (sweater) : 13 x 10 x 5"

Medium (shawl) : 12 x 8 x 4 "

Small (sock) : 10 x 6 x 3 "

The fabric comes from remnants from local upholstery and craft shops near to my home in Hampshire, UK.

Prefer to make your own? Mine are based on a pattern from Kandou Crafts here on .
