Full description
A mini set of 5 nesting dolls, featuring wildlife which might typically be found in and around an oak tree.
Measuring approximately 11cm tall, the largest depicts an intricately painted tawny owl. Nesting inside, is a cute grey squirrel.
Explore some more and you will find a male redstart and a blue tit. Last, but not least is a tiny acorn, the beginnings of a mighty English oak tree.
Each set of nesting dolls is unique and hand painted with great attention to detail.
I use quality Windsor and Newton acrylic paint and each piece has been given at least 2 coats of satin varnish to protect and enhance the finish.
I would recommend using a soft damp cloth to clean.
Please note that this item is unsuitable for children due to small parts.
Important - This set has some imperfections in the wooden forms and a small hole in the base of the redstart bird. Whilst the little faults are not really noticeable I am offering this beautiful mini set at a reduced price to reflect the flaws.
