Full description
A mini fabric hoop hand embellished art picture, featuring a bright Christmas tree and a couple of little elves carrying baubles. Perfect for decorating your home, or giving as a gift. Great as a Secret Santa gift, and small enough to fit in a stocking or through a letterbox (see my shop listings for direct post options).
As part of my zero waste philosophy, I make these mini pictures using the fabric off cuts from my Christmas stockings. Each picture will vary slightly, depending on the offcut, but all will feature a festive tree and elves, and most have a cat or cat bauble somewhere.
Available singly, or a a set of two - each will be different images from the same print. I also offer a set with an elf on a unicorn (see last picture).
I fussy cut the fabric to give a nicely placed image - exact placement will vary - and add a layer of soft wadding. I then hand embellish the fabric with ric-rac and embroider some french knots on some of the tree's baubles.
The fabric is securely fitted into a Elbese wooden embroidery hoop, and finished neatly at the back with pure wool felt blanket stitched all the way round the ring. The felt colours vary but will co-ordinate with the main fabric.
Size - 5cm diameter, with hanging 3cm loop.
Care - dust with a dry cloth or brush
