Moving away from the use of the wood shards in my earlier pieces, this pendant is made entirely from hand-poured resin material into which I mixed tiny flakes of copper and a few pieces of plant root. This was a completely different pendant style for me but, having worked for some time with wood and resin, I wanted to try using resin on its own. I found the end result quite attractive. I hope you do too.
Incidentally the metal which lines the bail (the channel the cord goes through) is made from reclaimed copper piping, found locally in a neighbour's skip, then cut, hammered and shaped for its new purpose.

Full description
This is a clear resin pendant incorporating threads of dark natural plant root, and tiny pieces of copper flakes that sparkle as the light catches them. The bail is copper lined and the pendant hangs on a coffee coloured faux suede cord.
The pendant is about 2 inches long (4cms) and the cord drop is 15 inches (38cms).
