I painted the red squirrel mandala miniature for an exhibition I took part in London for the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers, of which I am a member. I sold the original painting but wanted to make some prints. I thought the image lent itself to a hanging decoration so set about looking into the possibility of printing onto wood. I was delighted in the way it turned out. I think it would look good hanging from an indoor branch, or perhaps it could hang from a door handle or picture hook. It would be equally at home on a Christmas tree, or adding some autumn cheer to dark nights.

Full description
Wooden hanging decoration featuring my miniature painting of a red squirrel. The image has been carefully printed onto responsibly sourced wood and printed with ultra low VOC UV inks. It has been laser cut and has a small hole threaded with linen to enable the decoration to be hung. It measure 95mm in diameter.
