Hares are one of my favourite animals and I love how this pattern designer creates them with some much character.

Full description
During summer the snowshoe hare looks similar to a brown rabbit but gradually as the weather turns colder his fur goes lighter until he turns completely white so he is camouflaged against the snow.
My snowshoe hare measures 12 " (25cm) excluding his ears. He is knitted in alpaca and kid silk mohair yarn in these soft cream, beige, and grey shades and brushed to raise the mohair. His tummy contains a soft but heavy stuffing to give some weight and balance.
To add a little luxury I have given him a fur neck warmer which is removable.
Made by me based on a design by Claire Garland a designer who specialises in creating wonderful realistic animals.
