Full description
50 grams of Native British Shetland sheep wool, from a farm near my home in the Cotswold Hills. It has been hand washed and and passed through a hand picker but may contain a small amount of plant matter (moss, grass seeds etc). The fibre can be used for spinning, felting or other crafts that use sheep wool.
This fleece is from a mainly fawn Sheep with some moorit and grey patches. it is a lovely soft fleece with fine fibres and crimp and comes ready for carding. It will spin into a soft yarn ideal for warm jumpers etc.
carders NOT included (they are my favourite)
This hand processed wool is picked by hand and scoured to remove the lanolin, rinsed and picked again all by hand,. This process gives you a fibre that is less damaged than mechanically processed fibre from commercial suppliers and gives you a lovely result when spun.
