There are some fantastic designs of Schafpate 4 ply Sock Yarn, made exclusively for Viridian by the original self patterning sock yarn manufacturer in Germany Opal The range is produced from the wool of the Schaftpate sheep, a German rare-breed. Each one is a fantastic self patterning design that knits up beautifully on 2.5mm needles.
George - 7957 is one of the newest members and is a self patterning yarn in a multi coloured range of rich shades of mauve, purple, pink and blue, interspersed with thin stripes of green and wider stripes of red with flecks of dark mauve.
