I made a few of these recently for a Christmas Craft Fair. They were very popular and I just have this one and one other left.
They do make an affordable gift for teachers or secret santas.

Full description
This quirky little mug rug is larger than a coaster, measuring 9.5" x 7.5". It is designed to have a mug of your favorite hot beverage and a biscuit or cake on it. The rug is quilted with thermal insulated and wadding to ensure no nasty cup marks are left on your furniture.
The mug rug is made from a festive red fabric with a Christmas Stocking motive stitched on. The fabric is 100% cotton and is fully, machine washable.
The mug rugs make an affordable gift and are ideal teacher gifts or for a 'secret santa'.
