Working with wood I realised how the shaping, sanding and polishing of even a small piece of wood brings out the natural grain and colouring. Add to that the chemistry of working with hand-poured resin I found I was able to create some unique pendant pieces.

Full description
I used reclaimed iroko wood and hand poured resin containing mica and alcohol based pigments to create this piece. Green mica and cloudy white pigments contrast with the rich intensity of the iroko grain. As you rotate the pendant the inner landscape changes.
The pendant is about 3 inches long ((7.5cms) and comes complete with a soft, knotted, coffee-coloured faux suede cord which has a 15 inch drop (38cms).
