I love the idea of being able to drip silver over a crystal and let it form naturally around the crystal to hold and protect it. Obviously I can't do this or would destroy the crystal so I decided to wrap it in silver instead, using melted silver for form the folds to hold it. You will find more of this technique in my shop with various gemstones being cuddled in silver.

Full description
I have made this one off piece of unique jewellery using recycled sterling silver and a natural piece of orange Kyanite. The silver has been melted to create folds and ripples where I have been able to set the Kyanite. It hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain, but if you would a different length please get in touch and I'll let you know availability. I usually have 16, 18 and 20 inches in stock but can obtain other lengths if required. The pendant measures roughly 3 cm in length and 1 cm wide at the widest part and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office on the back.
This shard of orange Kyanite is a bright and zesty shade, like a strike from the glowing sun. It brings warmth to the piece and reminds me of flickering embers from the flames of a fire.
On a spiritual, healing level Orange Kyanite is connected to the sacral or Svadhisthana Chakra and is very much wanting to release your creativity in whatever form you like. If there are blocks if there are creative blocks it will help blast through them. A stone of joy and happiness.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.
