I like to work with unusual shapes and designs to when I discovered the rippling effect created by melting silver I was hooked. It reminds me of the sea in a gentle breeze where there are sections of stillness and then tiny ripples around them and bubbles starting to appear. You will find more of this technique in my shop with various gemstones being added.

Full description

I have made this one off piece of quirky jewellery using recycled sterling silver and a Moss Agate cabochon. The silver has been melted to create a ripple effect over the pendant and I have then set a 6 by 8 mm Moss Agate cabochon into it. It hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain, but if you would a different length please get in touch and I'll let you know availability. I usually have 16, 18 and 20 inches in stock but can obtain other lengths if required. The pendant measures roughly 3.5 cm in length and 1 cm wide at the widest part and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office on the back.

For me Moss Agate is the gemstone of fairies and is known as the stone of Gaia. It seems to hold within it wispy streams of moss from the natural world and I imagine the fairies have been playing within them. It's a wonderful stone for the imagination if you love nature and its secrets.

On a spiritual, healing level Moss Agate is connected to the heart or Anahata Chakra and therefore balances emotions and encourages the release of fear for the wearer.

To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.

Thank you for taking the time to view my shop and please contact me if you have any queries :-)
