Whilst working with wood I realised how the careful shaping, sanding and polishing of even a small piece of wood brought out its natural grain patterns and colours. Add to that the chemistry of working with resin and I was able to create some unique pieces of jewellery.

Full description
I made this pendant from a small piece of reclaimed iroko wood and hand poured resin. There is a richness and intensity to the grain of the hardwood and the blue-green and frost white pigments swirl in the resin to create a dramatic effect.
The pendant is about 2.5 inches long (6cms) and comes complete with a soft, coffee-coloured, knotted faux suede cord which has a 15 inch drop length.(38cms).
