Full description
Fine Silver Necklace. I have handmade this necklace using eco-friendly silver metal clay. I texture (both front and reverse) and shape the clay, make silicone moulds of shells which I then use to make clay casts which I apply to the design. I added a 10mm turquoise bubble glass cabochon, refined then kiln fired. The result is solid 999 fine silver. I have applied liver of sulphur to create an aged/ antique affect to the piece, add depth and make the design pop.
The surface texture, glass cabochon and application of the miniature silver shells are all created by created, resulting in a bespoke one of a kind design.

Silver metal clay is manufactured from 100% recycled scrap silver from medical, electronic, automotive and many other industries.
