I am working on a new series of Goldwork embroidery hoops taking advantage of the stunning goldwork threads which show up so well against open space.
This narwhal design is stitched on to a gorgeous blue silk backing, and is framed in a 6 inch hoop. The hoop is backed with felt to protect the embroidery, and your wall!
Goldwork is a traditional form of embroidery that uses different types of tiny thin wires to create different effects. Traditionally the wires were gold, but modern goldwork wires come in all the colours of the rainbow which is a lot of fun!
Please note - due to the nature of goldwork, some of the wires may have slightly sharp edges, so please take care when handling.
Will arrive wrapped in tissue, ready to give as a gift, and will be accompanied by an Athena Makes care card
