Goldwork Ivy Leaf Embroidery Hoop, Hand Embroidery, Ivy Embroidery, Leaf Embroidery, Metalthread Embroidery
This gorgeous Goldwork Ivy Leaf is hand stitched, using a variety of Goldwork wires, on to a white silk base. The embroidery is framed in a four inch hoop.
Goldwork is a traditional form of embroidery that uses different types of tiny thin wires to create different effects. Traditionally the wires were gold, but modern goldwork wires come in all the colours of the rainbow which is a lot of fun!
Please note - due to the nature of goldwork, some of the wires may have slightly sharp edges, so please take care when handling.
Will arrive wrapped in tissue, ready to give as a gift, and will be accompanied by an Athena Makes care card
Due to the nature of the stitching, this piece is OOAK. This is your opportunity to own a unique piece of embroidery art.
