Full description
Unique hollow blown clear glass tealight holder with a red, & green wigwag pattern. Comes with a stand 26cm high (can also sit flat on its own). Approx 9cm in diameter x 9cm high inc bail.
The item is handmade from Boroscilicate glass which is better known as Pyrex and is usually used in cookware and chemical glassware, which tends to be more resilient and resistant to shock.
This was hand blown in my studio in Swansea near the picturesque Gower which has been the inspiration for a lot of my pieces. It has then been annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
The colours you see are all coloured glass (not painted) incorporated with clear glass to give this unique effect. The colours on the glass may look different with different lighting. As it is handmade it may have some slight imperfections.
