Thanks for visiting Looney Spoons. I've now closed the shop for my Christmas break and will be reopening on Monday 6 January.
If you've already ordered, it will have been posted first class by Monday 16 Dec at the latest.
Have fun browsing and stay tuned for new spoons in the new year!
Massive thanks to all my customers, I am so pleased to have made so many people laugh this year.
Merry Christmas Everyone,

A vintage metal alloy coffeespoon with a plain square-ended handle, which I've hand stamped with THIS SPOON INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK. Because I've just read that poem by Bernstein and it made me both laugh and think, and I hope this might do the same for you. A perfect 'niche' gift for a poet or ecopoet you know, or for a coffee drinker who is a fan of John Cage's 4'33" (now we are getting SERIOUSLY niche!) or perhaps a philosopher who would enjoy a thinky sort of coffeespoon...
Anyway. It's about 11.5cm long, those letters are less than a millimetre high, I am too bone idle to go and look up the marking on the back but it says '50' and there is what looks like a chicken or maybe a peacock. I'm guessing it's European, maybe German or Scandinavian, if anyone knowledgeable is reading this then please do put me right!
The lettering is coloured black with a water-based ink. Hand washing recommended.
I can stamp other words (not necessarily tiny, I do have bigger lettering too) to order on other sizes and shapes of spoon, just drop me a message and I'll see what I can do!
