Full description
One of a kind stunning Fine Silver Oak Leaf & Acorn Necklace. I have handmade this necklace using eco-friendly silver metal clay and an oak leaf and acorn from a walk in the local Yorkshire countryside. I apply metal clay paste onto the back of the leaf and create a mould of the acorn which I then cast with lump clay - both are kiln fired resulting in solid 999 fine silver. The surface texture of the leaf and acorn are individual to the surface textures of the leaf and acorn I used in the creation of these pieces, therefore this is bespoke necklace design.

Silver metal clay is manufactured from 100% recycled scrap silver from medical, electronic, automotive and many other industries. What makes it a magical material to use is it's versatility and ease to texture and mould just like any other clay. After shaping, drying and firing the final result is solid hallmark quality silver.
