I recently visited the British Museum to look at the jewellery collections and came across a bronze age bracelet that looked so contemporary it was startling. It was a plain bronze bangle with a painted bead. It reminded me that about 20 years ago I visited Ghana on a study trip and I became slightly obsessed with buying beautiful hand made beads. I visited the workshop where this bead came from and saw the process of bottle to bead. Finally I've decided to release them from their box and into the world!

Full description
This is a sterling silver bangle with a recycled glass bead that I bought from the workshop in Ghana. The bead is hand made from recycled glass bottles and measures approximately 1 cm. The bangle has a hammered texture and is 2mm in diameter.
