Inspired by the Yorkshire country side and childhood memories of the wild mountains and oceans of the West Coast of Scotland, I make stoneware pots for people seeking space and calm. Pots to be held, used and enjoyed. Pots that are tactile and well proportioned, designed to fit perfectly in your hands.
Everything here is made by me in my studio in Yorkshire under the watchful eye of our 7 year old dog Lola.
If you've got any questions please get in touch.
Best wishes
Lorna x
Embracing a slower way of sustainable living is what my work is all about.
From my potter's studio in West Yorkshire, I take time to craft and glaze pieces of pottery using as few resources as I can.
I love the wild nature of the sea and mountains and want you to be able to bring them into your home. whether you've returned from a hectic day at work or just love to be surrounded by natural, handmade materials.
My work is your invitation to slow down, reflect and be kind to the people and beautiful planet we share.

Inspired by a desire for sustainable living, this hand thrown Skyline ceramic sugar bowl and spoon represents a slower way of life.
The sugar bowl have been made from natural materials using as few resources as possible. With a mix of green and turquoise glazes, it has a simple, undulating design that reflects the patterns of the ocean and sea shore. It comes with a beautiful handmade wooden spoon. This item forms part of my Hare collection of handmade pottery. The hare can symbolise change and feminine energy and is also often linked with the moon's energy.
From countryside retreat to urban apartment, this would make a perfect gift for those who want to be surrounded by items that are useful and beautiful.
