Full description
The ideal Christmas present for those people you barely know and who seem to have everything. They so do not have one of these. It's a vintage silverplated (well, formerly silverplated anyway) salad server set that I've handstamped with the words A TOKEN CRAP GIFT YOU'LL NEVER USE. This gift delivers exactly what it says, hence managing expectations on both sides (and hopefully giving you a bit of a giggle into the bargain - and it IS a bargain at only a fiver). Could be good as an anniversary, wedding, birthday, Secret Santa, retirement or pretty much any other sort of token gift too...
This listing is for a two-part salad serving set. You will receive the set shown in the photographs. The spoon and 'spork' are approximately 25cm long. Watch out for the spork tines as they are quite sharp. The set has been polished a lot, so although the metal is shiny it will always show the slightly brassy colour of the underlying nickel silver alloy.
The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand.
Please note this is a vintage set and it is supposed to be a bit crap. It's ironic. Also the lettering is deliberately wonky, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it, so there.
Oh yes and I know the postage is nearly as much as the item but I can't squish these into a large letter size, sorry, I have tried! However, I do combine the postage on absolutely everything in the shop... that might soften the blow a bit...
