Purple loostrife and iron modifier was used to create gorgeous tones of naturally dyed locally spun wool yarn. Perfect for stripes and colour work in knitting, crochet, embroidery and weaving projects!

Full description
A beautiful blend of 100% British Wensleydale wool yarn. Approx. 100g per skein.
SALE ITEM: due to over processing with iron modifier, which has slightly affected the softness of the handle. Still perfectly functional and usable!
Fleeces are sourced in the UK, then processed and spun in West Yorkshire by Laxtons.
Lovingly hand dyed by me in small batches using natural dyes that are 100% sourced from the UK - either grown by me, responsibly foraged locally or purchased dried from a small family business.
Scoured, mordanted with alum, dyed and washed with pH neutral organic detergent in my kitchen or garden.
Dyed with: Purple loosetrife and iron post modifier.
Yarn information:
Wensleydale 4 ply fingering weight, approx. 350m per 100g, 2/7Nm count.
Wensleydale 4 ply blend, lustrous and silky - perfect for shawls or drapey, light weight garments. Next to skin soft for most people.
Care instructions:
Hand wash only in cool water with pH neutral gentle detergent e.g. Ecover delicate wool and silk, Greenscents.
Dry flat, out of direct sunlight.
Do not tumble dry.
